HAPPY SPRING!! 

As I sit here enjoying a cup of coffee this on beautiful (still chilly though) May morning I can't help but feel a sense of hope, thankful that maybe we are making progress in the fight against covid and optimistic about getting back to a somewhat normal life. We have all been through so much but we are survivors and life will go on.

Like everyone this past year and a half has brought some profound changes to my life. This past September of 2020 I turned 60 (Ugh!) As much as I'm grateful to be embarking on my 6th decade I can't help thinking how fast the time really does go. I also was very sad to see the Salon that I have worked at for 34 years close its doors, the end of an era for me but so grateful for the wonderful friends and experiences (you would not believe some!) that was Cartel, The Salon.

So anyway, this is a new undertaking for me (be kind please) I would like to use this blog as a way to share new ventures, thoughts and idea's, favorite things and places, and of course food and wine :) and hope you'll share as well.
